Least Watched List #303

List of Anime (like the top 10) that have had the LEAST Amount of watches over a period of time.

I don't know that I'd consider that a good idea, if it's intended to be public facing. "Worst of" lists, especially when automatically generated, have a tendency to ward off people from giving series a chance. I believe that ratings pretty much cover that aspect in themselves.

The idea behind the list, extrapolating from the user submission, is that an aggregated least watched list of series would give series that haven't been watched often, or at all, a better chance at being seen again. I actually agree with this suggestion because typically newer anime are watched much more often than older series, and it's arguable that older series are in fact better because animation and plot lines have more detail.

Does the current toplist show all animes? If it does, we could just invert the list?

yeah, we order it 1- whatever, but I want to make it smarter, use data aggregation so it's over the last 7 days, last 30 days, last 90 days to give people a true idea of what has and has not been watched..

technically when a series has 0 views for the last day it randomly orders the series with that zero views.. so the end of the list won't ever be accurate..

Perhaps series with zero views could be ordered chronologically? That way it's listed as having not been even considered after a week or month of being on the site?

There could perhaps be a monthly promotional showcase of "Lost" series, for those who received very little attention in the amount of time they've been on the site, perhaps 90 days?

@Zigbigidorlu we don't have that option since no series has timestamps attached to them on series addition, its an issue that needs to be resolved still.

We have episode datestamps though right? We can use the stamp for the first episode?

correct, that will fix that specific issue but I feel does not apply (even when fixed) to this one.
