Powder sum of a filter #26

From Kartik:

I am using the filter feature in Owl to look at subsets of datasets. Can we have an option to look at the powder sum of the filtered set. It would help in determining the cutoff values for the filters.

I implemented and removed such a feature long time ago. If we implement this for Karik we should make sure that the user is warned before a long calculation of a powder sum from large stack is started.
