Abstract and Introduction

Great topic! I think you can include further details of the study to make the title more descriptive, perhaps the model you utilized, the forecasting outcomes if you would like to in the title or the subtitle. Your estimand is clearly stated in the beginning of the introduction. I think you can support some of your claims with literature, for example "..The 2018 election was chosen based on the high voter participation rate and clear partisan divisions.."

Data

I like your figure as it shows how the variables interact. You also have some insightful observations for the data distribution. I think you can improve the section by including comments on data measurements. Since gender is a key variable, you may also comment on how non-binary gender data were considered.

Model and Results

Your model set up is detailed and you have explained the result thoroughly. If possible you might explore adjustments to the model to improve the R square value. Nonetheless I do think you have done well in this section.

Discussion

You have structured this section very well to discuss the outcomes and the limitations of the model. I think 5.2 can be substantiated with literature references, such as for "..the finding challenges some traditional assumptions about male voting patterns and suggests that gender may have a more nuanced impact on political preferences than previously assumed." A reader not very informed on the subject might want to know what the traditional assumptions are.

Other in the Repo

Your testing is thorough and your LLM is well documented. You also included a data sheet. It looks well composed!

Thank you and I hope you do very well in this paper!
