I'm attempting to switch a fan on the fystec sb toolhead to 5v via JP1 or JP2, but I can't determine what I need to solder or cut.
I see three pads in the jumper, and none of them appear connected. I measured impedance in the pads, and soldered the one with no high impedance to 5v to the center pad, and used a knife to try and cut away the other pad, but only succeeded in bridging the 5 and 24 volt rails.
What needs to be done to use successfully reconfigure the fan to 5v?
You were ment to cut the traces but fysetc seemed to have screwed up the trace design. (see #9) Traces don't go through the top layer. so its impossible to disconnect 24V.
