Implemented a dump_equal_chunks method in Dataset. While the according test is passing, a mpi process exits with 1. There are also some errors from 975b7dee6269c9c8b06ba9cb18cd9a1676445101 , that have to be resolved before a merge can be done.
Once the hdf5 code is fine, it can be put in a separate function, so that it can also be used for saving a model.
