@FabianRig looks awesome! I got https://github.com/lidiapb/moonboard this running. And works also pretty well. But now some friends asked me to build the same system for them. I think your project is easier to build up, because i worked a lot of hours on the other one to get bt running. ^^ So could u tell me where have u bought the LED Stripes? Here in Germany I only find the 7,5cm version and not 25cm... I think i would be easier to build the new systems with the 25cm led stripes, because I dont have to custimize your system.

Thanks a lot for your work on this!

@smai86

I opened another issue.

Thanks! I've tried several Raspberry Bi based solutions. But all of them seem to be based on a rather "complicated" code base which was a bit too messy for me. ;-) Then I developed my own Raspberry Pi based solution which works but has some drawbacks. It takes a while to boot, you need to shut it down properly, connection with iPhones is unstable etc. Fast forward: easy and simple Arduino based solution. ;-)

Back to topic: I bought the LEDs from Ali Express (https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005001861162870.html). Be sure to also buy connectors which make the wiring a lot more easy! (https://www.aliexpress.com/item/32897420811.html and https://www.aliexpress.com/item/32947628043.html)

Shipping was quite fast and the product works perfectly!

However, if you manage to find another (cheaper) source with shorter cable lengths: it's very easy to adjust the LED mapping to your needs...

Let me know if this helps, please!
