length inconsistent for same segment #5

the lenghts don't correspond for the same segment. I sent you a mail with the file.

Here is am example:

(the number in parentheses gives the number of times that length has been recorded, at unique dates. But I am not 10% sure I got it right)

for transects and segments were the length is NA in some years but otherwise consistent across years, should we impute the length? Or does no length code for no visit (unlikely as there are recorded counts)

image Also, one error which may cause the kind of inconsistencies in segment length and metatdata (but which we can't solve without checking the spatial data) is that when transect segments are split like in this example, the some people have treated that as two segments and some as one. When they are handled as two, then that will influence the segment number all subsequent segments...
