[BUG] Channel delay #342

Describe the bug For some reason, there is an odd delay in changing channels.

To Reproduce Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Talk in one channel
  2. Switch to another channel via commands
  3. Send a chat message
  4. Sometimes the message goes in the first channel, sometimes the second

Expected behavior I expect channel changes to be instantaneous and reliable

Server and plugins versions (please complete the following information):

Any updates on this? I'd love to be able to continue using UltimateChat but this bug is really annoying for players and staff.

It still exists regardless of what Spigot/Paper/Purpur versions I've tried (1.10.2, 1.12.2, 1.14.4, 1.16.5, 1.17.1, and 1.18.1) and regardless of the Bungeecord (1.16.5, 1.17.1, and 1.18.1) or Java (11, 13, 16, and 17) version.

One year later

Any progress on this? It's infuriating to deal with this bug and really disappointing that there is zero support for this plugin.

No fix man :/

I have no idea what can be the cause of this delay! I already have tried some tricks but no lucky.

We're now into year 3 of asking for a fix. It's extremely disappointing the developer hasn't given us any indication if he's even been able to replicate the issue, nor asked us for more info to help them replicate the issue.
