Can I include (shade) this library into my mod?

Hello! If you decide to include, I recommend setting project required dependency on distribution sites.

Hi!

Thank you for asking! I strongly recommend to go the "normal" route and add a dependency on this library instead of shading it.

Shading can lead to several problems:

Potentially multiple versions of the library active at the same time. This can lead to incompatibilities between your mod and mods that use the library properly.
You would have to update the library code for yourself.
It would basically "steal" download counts from this project. While I'm not doing this for the money, it does not feel right to me.
