Screen flickering, in menus and in gameplay

Describe the bug

Details of problem: My screen flickers black rapidly when playing the game, this happens in menus and in game. I have attached two recordings where the issue occurs. It's a lot worse than it looks in the recordings because I'm recording at 30 FPS, while I'm using a 165hz monitor. I heard Exordium is a mod that causes these kinds of issues, however it wasn't included when I downloaded the mod pack so that clearly isn't my issue. In fact, I didn't even add any extra mods at all, I just installed the mod pack and launched on a clean instance.

Information: Fabulously Optimized 5.5.1, Minecraft 1.20.2 Prism Launcher 7.1 No added mods, no removed mods, no resource packs No errors, warnings or anything of the sort were found in my logs. Though, if it helps my relevant computer specifications are: CPU: Ryzen 5 3600 GPU: RTX 3070 (Drivers are up to date) RAM: 2x8GB (16GB) DDR4 3200mHz (HyperX Fury)

• [X] This bug report is about an issue with the modpack itself, I have not modified the mods nor added any resource packs. If this is not the case, I know that I should post the issue to modpack's Discord support channel instead.

Update: There appears to be more to the picture here, this is happening in vanilla as of the latest release, and is not an issue related to fabulously optimized.
