Cannot Open Texture maps (in-game workshop button) #170

I've created a Bear Rug skin using pbr workflow . When I go to the 'in-game workshop' create a new 'Item' name it then go to the edit panel clear out the default maps & "Click to browse" I navigate to my maps choose the correct map and press the "OPEN" Button. The button then darkens out and nothing happens the map doesn't load and I still am in the "Click to browse/load" menu . The only thing left is just a cancel button. I cannot open my textures in the 'in-game workshop'.

I have tried the following;

broken_rustupload The Open button doesn't work (Button turns to a darker green & deselects the 'selected' texture, thats it)

UPDATE: More testing---- After doing a bit more testing.

I found that while in the Load menu (as in the picture above) if I type out the file name manually in the "filename bar" then it loads the texture. Otherwise it just shows the word "Filename.png" at the end of the file path("C:\Tests\Filename.png" - 'note this path doesn't exist') for the texture when I hit cancel.

Now I load my texture by manually typing in the file name and pressing open then I publish and get this error!

Reads:( Unsupported Texture format - Texture2D: :EncodeTo functions do not support compressed texture formats. )

The published item is without the new texture file , when I go back into rust workshop edit the item the texture is not connected(missing)

Thanks for your time guys. -Best

p.s. Now I am going to try to export my textures without compression if possible

Yep. Same issue here. Hoping for a fix soon.
