no mp4 support in the CEF build used in the Dev branch. #3148

Details

<video> tag does not support mp4 or m4v files. <audio> tag does not support mp4 or m4a files.

Steps to reproduce

Garry's Mod already uses stuff that requires having an mp4 licence so compiling without mp4 support doesn't seem to make sense, also it means that certain game modes which specifically were needing the update to CEF won't see any benefit because of the lack of mp4/h264/aac support, please consider using a build of CEF with mp4 support.

I dont know if showing support for a suggestion is allowed but I would LOVE the ability to use the .aac filetype instead of mp3 and wav. Has like 1/10th the file size and I could finally start using more uniuqe higher quality sounds instead of a few overused medium quality sounds. http://image.prntscr.com/image/fef449d47d4f4efc9d7e8fda5171e558.png

Try one of the Ogg formats.

FLAC is a good lossless format but you'll maybe save half of the file size rather than 90%.

FLAC isn't supported by chromium

It was added in Chromium 56 I thought.

I switched to OGG. I know its a bit crazy but I wish gmod would have its own file type. I need something with a good 50%-60% file size compared to a .wav->.mp3 but the sound quality of a .ogg without sacrificing the capabilities of a .wav. Not sure how possible this is but would love to see it.

Use webm but we really do need MP4 support
