SMD/DMX Import/export plugins for 3D software would need to be updated in order to reflect this change, too, unless you want to do it by hand. Most likely not gonna happen as there would be problems with backwards/forwards compatibility with other Source games when recompiling the anims.

Could be implemented without collision scale (of course) for visual purpose only. It could be great for better and uncompromised animations for models and their ports from other games ,as we currently only have lua's bootleg function for that.
