I am testing other Factorio mods along with FA to find out how accessible they are. I am using this discussion page as a live-updated list and I am slowly transferring fully compatible mods to the respective wiki page. My aim for update 0.11.4 is to get through at least Test Group 1 from the list, so that we know where we stand regarding a good number of mods.
After testing, depending on the mod and the related issues, work towards improving compatibility and accessibility might be done. The low hanging fruit comes first, especially regarding mods that are found to be already mostly compatible. Examples of this work are issues #129 and #150. A fair amount of this work should be done before the mod compatibility update.
Tested mods are categorized as follows:
Fully compatible: You are able to do what the mod offers in a decent way, even if there are UX improvements that can be made. A proper entry for this mod will be added to the wiki page.
Mostly compatible: The mod works but there are issues that should be addressed for it to work in a decent way. Perhaps tweaking the mod settings is required for it to work ideally or maybe FA can have some small improvements.
Partially compatible: The mod does not crash and you can use some of its features but the intended experience is not properly accessible.
Not compatible: The game does not load or it crashes when this mod runs. Even if the game loads, the mod's features are not usable.
