1. Adding a private torrent

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
The torrent should appear in the downloads list but instead an error shows up
"invalid torrent file"

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
itransmission 0.5, iOS 4.2.1 iPhone 4.

Most likely either the torrent was corrupted during download so that
iTransmission fails to read. This should happen to other BitTorrent clients on
desktop as well. You should try to re-download the torrent file, and if that
doesn't work, try it on desktop to see if the file is actually corrupted.

and yeah utorrent downloads them just fine. Plz look into this issue

Because iTransmission doesn't share Safari's cookies, the private tracker site
may identify iTransmission as not logged in thus returning a HTML page instead
of .torrent file resulting invalid torrent.
