Error "ClientRead. Owned submarine index was out of bounds (list of server submarines is empty)." When friend tries joining my P2P server

A friend is trying to join my world and is getting the attached error message. One of my other friends can join no problem. Is there a way we can fix this issue for the friend who can't join us?

We have no mods installed, we are just playing the vanilla game. We have got decently far in the campaign so we do not want to start from the beginning if possible.

I can't think off the top of my head what could be causing this, although if it's only affecting some of the players, I suspect it might have something to do with them taking a longer time to start the round due to a worse internet connection or slower PC.

Would it be possible to send us the save file you're using? That could give us some more clues for diagnosing the problem. Note that you need to .zip the file first to attach it here, because GitHub doesn't allow attaching files with the .save file extension. Thanks and sorry for the inconvenience! :/

It's all good these things happen. Really loving the game! Hopefully the fix isn't too difficult so we can all hop in haha

There's no fix yet, sorry. Were you @Regalis11 able to get anything out of it with the save file?

Is there any update on this issue my friend started experiencing this when we switch over to a dedicated server, he is the only one experiencing it.
