Brace yourself for nitpicky-ness. But I do think this would be a nice added feature.
In Legacy Barotrauma, the backgrounds to the outpost menus (or just general multiplayer lobby menus) featured the "insides" of the outposts. You had the sub slightly submerged in water with the shadowy outlines of people for the military base, the glass hallway for the research facility, and so on. These were very simple images but they made me feel like I was sort of inside the outposts in between rounds.
The new backgrounds are just the new LocationPortraits scaled up and blurred, which kind of isn't very immersive. I'm being spoiled, I know. But it would really be nice if we got something like the work camp portrait:
...or even just something like the wait-in-line concept art that you posted on to twitter, or the shopkeep art you posted. Hmm.
Wait. Are you already implementing this?
Either way I understand the art isn't made on a whim, even if you do have an extremely talented artist.
