Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster crashes #9

On Steam Deck, the game seems to crash whenever the game gets paused or unpaused. This doesn't necessarily mean you have to open the pause menu, for example if a tutorial prompt appears which pauses the game temporarily, closing it will almost always crash the game. This occurs in the free demo for the game on Steam as well if you'd like to see what's happening for yourself.

Could you install reframework and try again? Use the DD2 build, copy over the dinput8.dll file and the reframework folder. Also add WINEDLLOVERRIDES=dinput8=n,b to your launch options before the fgmod command

This seemed to have fixed the crashing, however now when enabling DLSS it seems to only render one frame and then nothing else. So for example it'll render a static image of the background in the main menu, but if you hit new game, anything in engine will just continue to show that static image of the main menu.

Does changing the upscaler in the opti menu fix it? (press insert in the game to access it) Also could you send dlss-enabler.log and optiscaler.log?

Changing the upscaler has no effect (other than changing what's available in the OptiScaler menu), selecting FSR 3.1 causes the OptiScaler window to stop responding/updating, I can still hear the game in the background though. dlss-enabler.log OptiScaler.log
