In player mode set E131 universe count to one and disable it.
I'll give that a shot. I suppose I could have tried it, but I thought it would disable output to the FPD also.
6 minutes later - once I remembered to Stop/Start to put the new Network settings into effect, that worked. Verified with Wireshark that I'm no longer flooding my network and FPD output is working normally.
In my setup, I'm outputting to an FPD for all my display. Would it be possible to disable the Ethernet output (Unicast or Multicast) to reduce the CPU usage a bit?
Also, when in Bridge Mode (which I use sometimes for testing) would a checkbox to enable/disable the live display of bytes transferred be possible? Once you see that data is incoming, you really don't need to monitor it. That amount of live updating has to have some impact on CPU usage.
