Regions Not Loading on Orbital Survey #10

On the regions screen after completing survey it says "Awaiting Data".

First time using the mod in science mode I had two craft conducting orbital surveys. The first craft I had ran and completed the Kerban scan to 100% but due to not having enough electricity it could not transmit the data. I launched a second craft try to do it but it wouldn't provide any options to transmit the data during the scan.

I then went to Duna and attempted a scan with a fresh craft. I completed the scan and transmitted the data successfully, but the regions for Duna still do not display and gives me the same prompt. I suspect I goofed up an edge case along the way.

Interesting, I haven't enncountered this issue before. I'll have to test it to see what's happening.

For Kerbin, I think that's just how the stock science system works. When you complete an experiment, it's attached to your vessel and you have to transmit it. I'll have to see if there's a way to "cancel" the experiment and rerun it on another vessel. Though the way this mod uses experiments is different than the stock game does it, as they're automatically triggered when milestones are achieved. So I guess I understand how this issue might occur.

For Duna, I don't see how this could happen, so please provide additional info. So you sent a vessel to Duna with a Region scanner, you scanned the Regions to 100%, transmitted Region scans, and the Region map for Duna still says "Awaiting Data..."? Or did you mix this up with the Visual map?

Ok, I've been able to confirm the first part. When you finish an experiment (25% for example) on a body, it gets locked to that vessel that completed it and there is no way to "transfer" it to another vessel or to cancel it. So you have to transmit it somehow. I'll need to see if it's possible to either cancel the experiment or recreate it on another vessel, but disallow gathering science twice.

The second part I couldn't confirm. Whatever happens on Kerbin, Duna is a different body that isn't affected by it. I could gather science and maps normally, even though there were untransmitted experiments for Kerbin.

The second part is interesting. I tried to edit the save file to reset everything, but I couldn't clear the issue. Even after removing all the experiments and states of planets in the save file, I would do a scan on either planet it would still have the same issue.

I then created a new fresh science game all together and the problem still persists. Since it is just me I suspect the only thing it could be is some installation issue or mod compatibility issue.

Can you send your save file so I can check myself?

Better late than never. I haven't checked if there has been any change to behavior with the latest updates.
