[Feature Request] Schedule for adding or removing media #385

Open Zerdec62 opened 1 year ago

Zerdec62 commented 1 year ago

Description

Good morning,

As I state on the Jellyfin reddit (see here), this might be interesting for users like me who have limited storage coming in at its maximum to have a schedule for future additions and deletions (may also be interesting to integrate it into the current Jellyseerr system for user addition requests, so that they are informed at the temporal level of when the media will be available).

Desired Behavior

Added calendar system for adding and removing media by Jellyfin admin.

Additional Context

No response

Jellyseerr does not really interact directly with the media itself though. That is done be the *arr

Sort of related (maybe): A feature that's upcoming that might sort of interest you is local watchlist where you can have stuff added to watchlist to be requested later

Good morning,

Sorry, I may have expressed myself badly, but I was thinking of a calendar system, and that Jellyfin managers have write access to indicate when a next film or series will be released on the platform, or when a film will disappear, with dates (and if possible even times like a classic calendar). Users will have read access.

I know Jellyserr doesn't interact with live storage but it can be linked to the arr stack, what I meant is like the watchlist system you are setting up, with the system calendar indicated previously there would also be the possibility of "programming" the stack arr to recover a series or a film such day at such hour.

If this is feasible on your end, it could be an interesting addition for many people I think.
