Causes Void Monster's distortion effect to not work #2

was working on a pack and noticed that Void Monster's https://reikakalseki.github.io/minecraft/mods/voidmonster.html cool distortion effect did not appear. after some trial and error i figured out it was this mod that was causing it, How can i restore the distortion effect?

I haven't had a lot of time lately to keep CrashGuard up to date. You should try CoreTweaks for the time being, it also has a CrashGuard-style feature along with a lot of other bugfixes. https://github.com/makamys/CoreTweaks

tried core tweaks and it has the same issue unfortunately :( , i'll open a issue there
