Export only "sober" bloodsugar levels (Nüchternzucker) #22

When exporting and printing my entries for my doctor, I only need the entries right before a meal intake. All other entries are just for me to be able to have a daily curve, but are uninteresting for others. Is there a way to make the export customizable in such a way that only certain bloodsugar values are exported?

Technically this sounds absolutely doable but I need more information to evaluate this feature request:

"Right before a meal" would be the last blood sugar entry before an entry of the category meal, yes. All blood sugar entries 30/60/custom minutes prior to a meal entry could also work, would maybe still clutter the export though.

The readability/clutter is the reason I opened this issue. Currently, my PDF is hard to read because I add about 30 - 40 blood sugar measurements per day to get a less jagged curve in the diary. This has the added effect that the PDF has countless uninteresting entries that the doctor has to scan through to find the ones that matter.

I have not had any issues with the other filters and can currently not think about any more that might be missing.

As stated above, I am talking about the PDF export.

Got it! Some parts of Diaguard are not optimized for such an amount of measurements per day, I agree, and your idea of skipping some entries sounds reasonable. My only concern regarding that idea is how to implement this in a way that fits as many needs as possible and make it intuitive for every kind of user. Maybe #21 will solve with this issue when avoiding visual clutter by smoothening the curve(s).

In the meantime I would suggest to export the PDF as "Table" (Tabelle) which will merge all entries in 2-hour steps:
