Streets of Rage 4 PC/Switch None Not really sure

PC (EC 9D 0B 5C 5B E5 FD FF 73 92 00 E1 81 B6 31 72 5C 1A 2D 8D AD 17 EC D4 92 84 AB 16 42 AB 95 AA) Switch (40 54 54 02 EC 9D 0B 5C 5B E5 FD FF 73 92 00 E1 81 B6 31 72 5C 1A 2D 8D AD 17 EC D4 92 84 AB 16)

With SOR4 Explorer you can open the file it appears to control stuff like image size for example this image but unfortunately you cannot edit the file in SOR4 Explorer.

If you were able to edit this file it would allow custom HUD's among other things for example currently no matter the image size it'll force it to the one in the bigfile

Currently Kuriimu2 does not support Layout formats, but this is a planned feature. Due to this, this issue will most likely not being worked on for quite some time, since other features are planned beforehand.

I did see this on the SOR4 Explorer repo "The game seems to be very data-driven.

The file named 'bigfile' contains a serialization of custom .Net objects including data for all the characters, moves, levels and a lot of other stuff. If this file is correctly reverse-engineered, there is a chance modders would eventually be able to add new character or moves to the game, instead of just making texture swaps."

This sounds out of the scope for Kuriimu2. We focus on general file formats. The more specific the modification gets (for whatever reason) the less we are the right people.

Could something like this be unpacked and then repacked like textures I wonder.

onepiecefreak3 commented 3 years ago

Probably, but not by Kuriimu2. A more specialized tool would be more appropriate.
