I am on MacOS 13.1 and kuriimu2 never opened for me, I wanted to know if anyone had the same issue and apparently someone reported the same issue 2 years ago, so as the title says, so I decided to do it myself, I got it to open but the plugins don't show up, and that's when I realised the plugins are all dll s, which can't be read by Mac, so I can't open an fa or anything else. So as the title says, has the mac version ever been tested by the team to work and if so then how did you get macOS to read dll s, because it can't.

The extension is dll, but what's inside is arbitrary. The program can read the dll's since they are .NET assemblies, which are platform agnostic. We always had issues with Mac and the program finding the plugins however. So, if anything, the location it searches for the plugins is wrong, and therefore it cannot load any. Beside one team member a few years ago, we never tested it on Mac and probably won't be, since none of us own a Mac.
