after adding this plugin to my server it all seemed completely fine i had no issues and just set it up and forgot about it
my server finally released today and i then found out that for some reason itemsadder was kicking random players and letting the rest in no issue at all
the kick message said "An error occured when enabling resource pack, please contact admins or disable resource pack"
after seeing this kick like 5 players i just disabled the thing that kicks players when the resource pack fails, it then let all players in
but didnt let those players see the resource pack at all
i was confused on what was causing this untill i noticed that almost everyone was lost on where to go in my server despite the large holograms saying where things are and where to go, i then asked them if they could see the holograms and they said no. i thought this may have been a simple glitch like unless you are right next to it then you cant see it but i then told them to go over to the holograms that you can walk right up to and they couldnt see anything. i then removed this plugin from the server and was just going to go back to using decent holograms but after removing the plugin the players started saying the resource pack from itemsadder was working fine now
idk what is causing this because as far as i know the holograms used in this plugin are completely vanilla via 1.19 update
but yea it seems that what items adder was saying "An error occured when enabling resource pack" i think that whatever this plugin is using to show the holograms must also be having an error when trying to load also like i said it worked completely fine for some players
