Why do notifications pop up for the default "Assigned to me" filter, but not
any of the ones I create? Is that a JIRA thing I need to set up?

I'm still not seeing them. Maybe I just have something configured wrong?

To enable desktop notifications for some filter you should go to JA options
page->Configure filters->Edit filter->check Enable desktop notitfications for
this filter checkbox (see screenshot attached)

Yes, I tried that, but still no pop-ups. also the Configure Filters page
doesn't show that the filter has desktop notifications enabled.

Just to be sure, though: Do I need to set anything up in Chrome to accept
notifications from this extension?

now it works for all filters, but it's a little funny.

1. When I initially installed and configured the extension I saw notifications
for the default filter.
2. When I enabled notifications on the second filter I saw them also.
3. I changed both filters to a one minute polling time, added a couple new
issues that were caught by the filters, but then never saw notifications for
either one. I also never saw the badge number increase, so maybe it just wasn't
updating for some reason.
4. However, if I disable and then re-enable the extension or if I go to the
Configure Filters (Option) page after creating new issues I get notifications.
5. After doing that and clicking Reload Issues (which also causes notifications
to pop up) I now get notifications for the same issues every time the filters
update (every minute in this case).

Looks good!. Thanks. This is a great tool. You might have noticed the
screenshot says I have a JIRA Tweets filter. We set up filters that look for
"@<my username>" in comments on issues, and then set the assistant to pop up
notifications for that filter. Now my team can tweet each other with updates on
different issues, which is really handy.
