Open GoogleCodeExporter opened 8 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 8 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Go to tools
2. Extensions
3. Options
4. Enter username/pw, put in URL of Jira
5. Click Save

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Expect for it to authorize or give error. Just constantly says
'authorizing...'

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
1.7.0 . XP Pro

Please provide any additional information below.

I got this response the first time I tried setting up the extension also, but
now it works fine.

What did you do to make it work? :(

If it is an error, timeout...etc...a 'response' from the application would be
preferred.

I have the same issue with my server as well. I've tried it thrice now.

Same steps as above.

Fixed this issue by using full URL, i.e.

http://jira.mydomain.com:{port}/jira/

Error reporting on this screen could really do with an overhaul, the eternally
spinning "Authorizing" message gives the impression that the extension has a
bug.

We experienced this issue too. The problem was that Remote API was set to off
in the Jira configuration (Administration --> System --> General Configuration
--> Remote API).

I have remoteAPI enabled on JIRA OnDemand and this is still not working. Sucks
because I used to love this plugin and now its useless :(

Johntdyer, can you provide me with temp access to your instance of jira?
