Every slider image currently uses up to 6.1 MB. This especially hogs (already slow or capped) mobile data plans. We should compress them or use a small webm instead...

We could also record a small loopable video from Port Olisar (the rotating space station) and include this in the background, just like RSI does. I'm thinking about something calming like these:
