Hello @zhl111 ,
thanks for the kind words.
Can you be more specific what you're missing to have a more clear distinction? There's currently a color code which you can customize in color and size via options.
The screenshot you provide is from another extension? There it's only listing Bookmark as a text not as a color coding, so I personally would find that less visually distinct. But people are different in that regard.
This is a browser https://www.meetsidekick.com/ .Global search function
I like the feature of your color, it's great and unique compared to others.
Can I change the font style and font size? Can I hide the URL content and only display the title and relevant information in this line?
Unfortunately, changing what you want to change only works by editing the CSS of the extension itself. Right now this is not possible without checking out the extension itself via git, changing the sass/style.scss
file, building the extension and then loading it locally.
For a developer, this should be no problem but for a regular user this is very inconvenient.
I also cannot make this extension that configurable, because then I'd need to have a lot of options and dynamic styling. So unfortunately, it's unlikely that I'll support this.
I really like your plugin, it's exactly what I've been looking for to replace a feature in the Sidekick browser. However, I hope that your plugin can have a clearer and more user-friendly interface like theirs. Right now, it's difficult for me to distinguish between bookmarks and browsing history.
