I really sympathize with him(not empathize). He was going through shit and his friends and roommates turned him away. What he did was obviously beyond wrong but I can't help but feel somewhat sorry for him. Reading his suicide note really humanized him in a way reading news articles about him doesn't. (I feel like we could have been friends, the way we share the same opinion of "The Office"). He tries rationalizing the killing of his family by saying that he and his brother's death will haunt his parents, siblings, and grandma's lives so he should just kill them too, but his logic is flawed. Now his extended family did not just lose two lives, they lost 6, and their family name is now associated with a suicide/murder. My heart goes out to the extended family.
