A simple GUI has been developed in #145. It it by no means a long-term GUI but helps alleviate immediate needs and shows how to interface Python and Javascript!

OK we are going to give OpenMCT a try. We will give it one week of development time to obtain a proof of concept Faraday user interface. The thought process is as follows:

• We find UI development interesting but we are FaradayRF developing a new amateur radio digital network and applications to utilize ham radio in new ways. It doesn't make sense to unnecessarily devote time/resources to UI design instead of on solving the original problems we set out to solve (read our Master Plan).
• OpenMCT is open source on GitHub and under active development. This bodes well for future support
• Many use-cases of Faraday involve real-time missions such as High Altitude Balloons, EMCOMM, or remote sensing/control. OpenMCT was designed for this.
• Already includes support for plotting and displaying information in a single-page UI
• One week should be sufficient to get a barebones setup to show the usefulness of OpenMCT being leveraged for ham radio use.

Closing as we've implemented this in #274 ! OpenMCT may be viable in the future but for now we are focusing on making Grafana work for us.
