A while ago I accepted a PR as a temporary fix to some errors a couple of users were getting, more details here: https://github.com/MatPoliquin/stable-retro/issues/2
Unfortunately I should have gone back and remove that temp fix but never did
Tested on Ubuntu 20.04 and 22.04
