Describe the bug The auto-generated layout algorithm produces wildly inaccurate results, often contrary to settings.
How To Reproduce the bug Create a layout with several pattern pieces, (sometimes even one is enough.)
What should have happened It should make efficient use of available space in accordance with chosen parameters.

As the picture shows, several inches could be saved without even juggling the pieces.
What's your Desktop OS? Ubuntu 20.04.1 LTS, but others have mentioned it as well.
What's your Seamly version from Help/About? Seamly v0.6.0.1 release 20201012, but has been long-standing.
