I try to convert a JPEG image into a PDF file. The JPEG image weights 729 kB. The converted file weights 703 KB, whatever could be the quality specified in the image setup.
Also, the compression is not very efficient: With Image2PDF / Windows (included in PDFCreator / PDF Architect), my images are reduced to 25% of the original size (with a seting to quality = 80%) without real quality loss. With all software found under Linux, the compression is not very good.
I run version 0.6.7 under Ubuntu 14.04 LTS.
