@wsargent Very interesting... thank you for sharing this. I'll need to read it later on with more thought, but from what I saw your progress makes lots of sense. Agree with your findings (wrt my own experiences, some benchmarking). And Blacklist itself sounds like something useful at my day job... I have been thinking a bit about how unnecessarily heavy-weight typical log processing pipelines are these days (due to many reasons, including but not limited to legacy systems evolving in weird ways, using tools that are good on their own but are integrated in ways that are not).
