Possible crash related to config implementation #5

Take a look at the config implementation and make sure we don't disrespect any non-thread safe nightconfig things (this has been a problem in the past with SM)

No signs of this being the case so far. Config GUI crash can however happen if a mod depending on Crust loads before crust
