Can't disable Xee to try opening .rar documents #218

As stated in the summary: Is there an option to avoid Xee to try opening
.rar documents? I can't figure on how to do it.

I'm under OSX 10.4.11

Use the Get Info panel in the Finder to change which program is used to open 
rar files. 
This is an OS X issue, as it is the one that selects what program to use to 
open each kind 
of file.

Have the same issue. Every time I change the association though the Finder but 
Xee remains the default application for RAR files. Not sure whose fault it is 
but it's rather quite irritating. Not sure when it started behaving like this.
