Request: provide binaries #3

Is there any possibility to provide binaries for the main platforms (win64, Linux, etc.)? I don't have my rust environment ready and I don't know if I really want one....

Hi, unfortunately I don't have the time to handle this. I'll do it if I find time and if people find interests into this. From the other mdbook preprocessors I've seen, most of them do not make releases, so I'm not sure about the ROI here, especially if you need to install a rust environment anyway (for other preprocessors).

All other preprocessors I'm using are indeed provided as binaries :-) Ok, I managed to install a rust environment and to create the binary by myself, but as the resulting program isn't working on windows yet, i removed the whole environment, especially the Gigabytes of unwanted Microsoft stuff ;-) I have no deeper knowledge of Rust and just wanted to use things. Nevertheless: many many thanks for your quick responses! P.S: cmdrun has the potential to produce security risks, if no other precautions are taken - some page author could code <!-- cmdrun rm -r -f -->, or am I wrong?

Ty for your interest! ahah. I still don't have the time right now, so I'll see later. And you are perfectly right about the security issue! I'll open another issue!
