I know it has been a long time since you've been here but your project is so awesome that I hope you can answer my question... I downloaded everything, build the entire lamp but I do not know where to start with the software... Where can I find the initial / starting sketch for Arduino?

Indeed this was a long time ago. The arduino is only used to control the led. You should upload the .ino file in src/arduino/RGB_led_serial_control to your arduino. To control the actuator (dynamixel) you need a USB to dynamixel adaptator. to control the lamp you have

a python GUI in python src/prog/guiClient.py
the demo (sleep, search face and follow) python src/prog/behaviorClient.py You need to have a python 2.7 client on your machine with library listed in the Readme.

I am really thankful! I ordered dynamixel actuators but it's taking too long so I already build it with cheap MG995 servo's. Hoping they could do the job also if I altered the .ino file. I think I have to be patient and wait a little longer for the dynamixel actuators. Thanks again, and when the arrive I will give you s short notice how everything went!
