Hi,

Hope you're well

Thanks for splendid software

Just a quick one to say Moa appears to have stopped posting from Mastodon to Twitter for [me] and I wondered if anyone else is experiencing the same issue?

If you have any issues (e.g. questions/queries) then happy to help

Keep up good work!

Hope this helps & to hear back

Sincerely

Hi, can you confirm that your settings are enabled when you log in to Moa?

ldexterldesign commented 4 years ago

Thanks for reply

The cross-posting Enabled checkbox needs to be checked.

Hmm, nope. Still broken.

foozmeat commented 4 years ago

Can you send me a link to a message that didn't cross-post?

That appears to have been posted before you enabled cross-posting in the screenshot.

Anyone else suffering this issue?

I'd feel a lot better if I knew it wasn't just me 😬

Your account is still listed as disabled in the DB. Please confirm that you checked the "cross-posting enabled" checkbox and pressed Save.

foozmeat commented 4 years ago

It looks like your account is being automatically disabled because mastodon.social is saying your bridge access token is disabled. Please delete your bridge in Mastodon and reauthorize it.

My Mastodon > Twitter syndication is broken again since this post

To my knowledge, I haven't touched any settings - any idea what's going wrong?

Perhaps you or someone else is experiencing issues too..?

Hope to hear back

Sincerely

ldexterldesign commented 4 years ago

FYI de/re-authenticated both websites with Moa and still not fixed

foozmeat commented 4 years ago

Your bridge is showing as disabled in your settings.

ldexterldesign commented 4 years ago

Thanks for reply

Bridge == Crossposting Enabled

Correct?

Sincerely

foozmeat commented 4 years ago

yes that's right.

ldexterldesign commented 4 years ago

Something's definitely up...

Just logged into dashboard and Twitter wasn't setup, as I left it yesterday

Both Mastodon and Twitter still had Moa listed as an authenticated app

Oddly, I re-added Twitter in dashboard and the original toot I expected to tweet has resolved

Until tomorrow..?

Hope this helps

Sincerely

ldexterldesign commented 4 years ago

Same again today, Twitter disconnected by itself in dashboard. I haven't touched any dashboard settings this time (e.g. left Twitter disconnected) in case it's helpful for inspection.

Aside, Twitter is also giving me CAPTCHAs pretty every time I use the site

NB I presume there are no locally stored Moa settings, but in case it's relevant I blow ALL my browser settings away when I close it and close it daily

Hope this helps

Sincerely

FYI

I haven't touched any dashboard settings this time (e.g. left Twitter disconnected) in case it's helpful for inspection.

Just re-added Twitter in dashboard and the original toot(s) I expected to tweet have resolved again

Next time Twitter disconnects I'll set moa up on a test Twitter account I have to see if this is a moa or Twitter (account) issue

Sincerely

ldexterldesign commented 4 years ago

FYI

Same issue today again

Twitter CAPTCHAs every time I login now so I suspect they think my account's a robot

Just setup moa up on a test Twitter account which is [working] ATM

Sincerely

ldexterldesign commented 4 years ago

I presume this issue is not (Twitter) account specific because same issue with a test account

This is what I get when I attempt to crosspost from Mastodon to Twitter:

Again, anyone else suffering this issue?

Could my VPN be causing this?

Has something changed in the moa codebase / Twitter API?

😢

ldexterldesign commented 4 years ago

FYI when I try to re-enable Twitter via moa dashboard (i.e. "Connect to Twitter") I get directed to the "We've temporarily limited some of your account features" Twitter gateway so I'm confident moa is triggering this

ldexterldesign commented 4 years ago

I think, it's not just me, Twitter has just decided to develop a car (too). W#nkers.
