This cant be done on the userside anymore. It would be really great to have an OSTree version of that.
The other solution would be to have a repo for the other kernel, find out how to override it with normal ostree and somehow rank the patched kernel higher than the fedora kernel.
The rest is only installing packages and codecs, mostly not even needed for Flatpaks.
Okay it seems what Nobara does is really important. They modify the kernel a lot, adding patches for every hardware.
