Interesting. That's not possible, how could it be? Unless there is a special reason, you should use dnf to install and use it. I'll have to test it to see if it's the same as your case.
test - Fedora37 server-kde/install mediawriter (remove mediawriter after specific foler install)
rpm -iq mediawriter-5.0.3-1.fc37.src.rpm
it does not effect any remove folder or file~
where are you install ???
I installed the Media Writer into a wrong directory. (one directory up where it was supposed to be). I used the deinstaller and it fucking deleted all content of my parent folder!
That's really unfortunate and I'm sorry. I can see the uninstaller removes everything within the same folder. We will need to make it to uninstall only the files we installed.
