this what its looks after applying the theme using qt5ctl

the text in the option bar overlaps with the icons.

I cannot reproduce (testing on KDE Plasma): 1) Using QGnomePlatform + Adwaita-qt → it disables the text so it's not relevant 2) Using KDE platform + Adwaita-qt → I can see both with enough space

Hmmmm, I'm not using QGnomePlatform nor KDE platform. I'm using it in a stand alone tiling wm (bspwm)

I'll install QGnomePlatform and see what's it it fixes the problem.

QGnomePlatform won't fix your problem, it won't even be used by default as you are not in a GNOME session. I would have to try myself in bspwm (which I have never heard of).

I will try to reproduce it somehow.
