Add Class Report

The Report Class is the Penultimate parent class of the report.

Attributes:

• xmlns="http://developer.cognos.com/schemas/report/14.0/"
• useStyleVersion="11.4"
• expressionLocale="en"
• viewPagesAsTabs="topLeft"

The namespace (xmlns), and the useStyleVersion attributes will change with different versions of Cognos. The expressionLocale will reflect the locale that the report author used (in their Cognos profile) when creating the report object. For multi-page reports, they can be switched by using a tab panel. viewPagesAsTabs controls this function.

Children:

• drillBehavior -- these are dill throughs which are passed into the report by the model/package .
• XMLAttributes -- unsure of the purpose of these...
• layouts -- starts with the pages and goes to the n'th degree of specificity including everything from pages, to data containers to fonts and border thicknesses.
• queries -- the data gathered by the report
• modelPath -- location of the model/package in the Cognos portal
• reportName -- Name of the report object
• reportVariables -- runTime variables available to manipulate the report output behaviour

Future Possibilities:

Additional information may be available regarding a report object with a connection to the Content Store.

@SinclairC , I see you picked up this item. I just finished the profile of the class. I would say that at this stage, the drillBehavior, and the XMLAttributes are not that important, so I won't build classes for them until last. The layouts child is going to be the biggest bear to wrestle in the Report section of the documenter. I'll take a stab at building out the profile for layouts now.
