Nightbane Bugs (after Patch) #1698

Hello, After the patch that should dispawn Nightbane Skeletons and re open the doors to go inside and continue with attempts, he still buged. We Encountered few other bugs aswell.

Zone/Instance: Karazhan

What type of error occurred?: 1st Bug is pretty simple. His fear (bellowing roar i think it is called) sometimes throws ppl from the terrace and they leave Karazhan or puts them underground.

2nd bug we encountered today (5.8.2012) @ 25% He flew away, and skeletons spawned, shortly after that, our Main tank died (during the skeleton phase) and Nightbane somehow evaded or reset(we were still in the skeletons phase). When we killed all the remaining skeletons we left combat and had to ressumon him again and restart the fight.

3rd bug happened on Thursday (after patch 2.8.2012) and today as well (5.8.2012). We did few attempts where skeletons despawned and we were able to retry him. But on our last (obviously last) attempt Skeletons didn't despawn and doors remain shut.When we all Resurrected we pulled the skeletons and kill them, but then doors didn't open anyways. Can the error be repeated? If so, what are the steps?: I think this is happening when the skeletons kill the last man standing (i.e. the last man alive from the raid) near the doors.

Nightbane:

When engage nightbane Doors should be closed - Until nightbane is dead, or everyplayer are dead: Then door should reopen

On Archangel this is not the case.


Nightbanes fear still fear players out of the instance - Which is in some unlucky situation will wipe the raid.


Charred Earth – Chars the ground beneath a random player. All players standing inside the affected area (approximately 5 yard radius, visually indicated by smoke on the ground, very difficult to spot if your spell effect detail slider in video options is below half way) receive a DoT that deals up to 3,000 fire damage per second. Cannot be dispelled, but disappears by itself once the player leaves the affected zone. The zones remain for 30 seconds and several of them can be present at the same time. (I'm not sure, but it seems the effect is slightly larger than the mark on the ground, someone please confirm or deny this)

My video ingame is at max on everything and this radius is to large on arhcangel, when u stand 2 yards away from the Charred Earth your still gaining the damage. and should be fixed


Cleave – Typical dragon cleave, frontal arc. Hits for approximately 6,000 on plate, 11,000 on cloth.

This ability sometimes also happends not frontal & should be checked


Tail Sweep – Inflicts 450 fire damage on enemies in a cone behind the boss, knocking them back. Deals 450 fire damage every 3 seconds for 25 seconds

This also apear to happend even if your not standing behind the boss & should be checked


Summons five Restless Skeletons. Each has the following attributes: Hits for approximately 1,300 on cloth, 450 on plate Has roughly 13,500 health

This is the not before nerf data and those data cannot be provided, how it's true about the "imune to magic"

However there is to many skelethons and theyr health poll is to high

The skeletons summoned in the flight phase are Restless Skeletons (http://www.wowhead.com/?npc=17261), have between 13-15k hp and hit for roughly 1.2-1.6k on cloth, depending on which buff the clothie has

On archange they have like (40k ? if in not incorrect - Here you can read the patch note AND there is not whatso ever any proof or memories back then from this health poll so far i've researched) The only change there have been made were the imunity to magic has been removed in Hotfix - 09.03.2007 (post 2.0.10 changes) Which were the first patch what so ever.

Skeletons Swarms of them spawn from the Rain of Bones during the flight phases of the Nightbane fight. This is also not working correctly on archangel. They spawn before the "rain of bones"

This should also be fixed.


Skeletons: If you die while they are alive there are an chance that those skeletons is still alive - And therefor the door cannot be open once again because of "combat bug"

This should be prevented by "either don't close the door at all" Or fix the combat buggin & the correctly despawn of skeletons

I would like to see your statement or source from old pre nerf stats about those skeletons with 40k health -

The magic imune i can agree on, but whats so ever I have found the first patch note were it's only writted this

I have another bug no one has mentioned.

Nightbane is currently immune to bleeds. He was never immune to bleeds, only mechanical mobs are. (Note: Curator is currently not bleed immune, so maybe this got mixed up some how?)
