[Quest][Horde] Invasion Point: Cataclysm quest chain

The quest is part of the chain following after completing the recently fixed http://www.wowhead.com/quest=10601/the-fate-of-kagrosh and http://www.wowhead.com/quest=10602/the-summoning-chamber

At some point horde players receive the quest Invasion Point: Cataclysm http://www.wowhead.com/quest=10767 - The teleporter is functional but the NPC Nakansi ( http://www.wowhead.com/npc=21789 )is completely missing. The alliance counterpart NPC Plexi ( http://www.wowhead.com/npc=21790/plexi ) on the other hand is standing where he is supposed to be.

From the looks there seem to be more issues with this questchain, maybe worth to take a look into it.

I looked into the quest chain, and as @Doppelmoral said NPC Nakansi ( http://www.wowhead.com/npc=21789 )is completely missing Here is a screen with his XZY positions: http://img837.imageshack.us/img837/8118/nakansi.png

At the moment the NPC is not presented at all, should be spawned.
Also in the DB he is friendly, so he should be made hostile.
At the moment he is dropping 2 items: The Doctor's Key (ID: 30712) http://www.wowhead.com/item=30712 and the quest item The Art of Fel Reaver Maintenance (ID: 30713) http://www.wowhead.com/item=30713#contained-in-object. He should drop only the key.

2) Game Object The Doctor's Strongbox (ID: 185233). The Doctor's Key should open the lockbox. The Lockbox should contain the quest item The Art of Fel Reaver Maintenance (ID: 30713). 3) Game Object Doctor's Alchemy Table (ID: 184949). Not rly needed. Im just nitpicking here :)

For the Alliance side quest: The Art of Fel Reaver Meaintenance (ID: 10606)http://www.wowhead.com/quest=10606/the-art-of-fel-reaver-maintenance

loc .go -2665 2055 116.4 The things here are added, but some adjustments should be made. 1) NPC Doctor Gutrick (ID: 21778) http://www.wowhead.com/npc=21778/doctor-gutrick

As Maleficus he drops bots items. He should drop only the key. The lockbox here is working fine and contains the quest item (can be used for scripting the other lockbox for the horde quest)

Next quest in the chain: The Fel and the Furious

Horde side quest ID: 10613 http://www.wowhead.com/quest=10613

Game Objects Fel Reaver Control Console (IDs: 185059, 185060, 185061) are completely missing. Should be added.
Using Game Object Fel Reaver Control Console (IDs: 185059, 185060, 185061) should give you control for 5 minutes over creature Fel Reaver Sentinel (ID: 21949) http://www.wowhead.com/npc=21949. His abilities can be seen in the link.

In general

Fel Reaver Sentinels are completely missing. I think 6 of them should be spawned - 3 at the horde side and 3 at the alliance side. Positions for the horde side can be seen in the provided videos.
More Game Objects Deathforged Infernal (ID: 184979) should be spawned. At the alliance side there are some, but they should cover the whole area to the horde side. Can be seen in the videos.
In the area should be added numerous Gan'arg Technicians (ID: 21960) http://www.wowhead.com/npc=21960/ganarg-technician and Cataclysm Overseers (ID: 21961) http://www.wowhead.com/npc=21961. Can be seen in the videos.

Ok going for the fixes separately:

Quest: The Art of Fel Reaver Maintenance (Horde):
- The quest giver Nakansi is added. - confirmed
- Doctor Maleficus is added too. - confirmed
- Doctor Maleficus now is hostile. - confirmed
- Doctor Maleficus now drops only The Doctor's Key and doesn't drop anymore the quest item The Art of Fel Reaver Maintenance. - confirmed
- The Doctor's Key opens the game object The Doctor's Strongbox which contains the quest item The Art of Fel Reaver Maintenance. - denied - The Doctor's Stronbox should be spawned near Doctor Maleficus - at the moment there is already such game object near Doctor Gutrick, another one should be added so there are 2 Strongboxes - one next to Doctor Gutrick and one next to Doctor Maleficus. To summarize - Game Object The Doctor's Strongbox (ID: 185233) should be spawned next to Doctor Maleficus.
- Game object Doctor's Alchemy Table removed. - denied - the Alchemy Table was fine, it didn't have to be removed. Instead another Table like this should be spawned near Doctor Maleficus. So now 2 tables (ID: 184949) should be spawned - the old one near Doctor Gutrick, and one more near Doctor Maleficus
Quest: The Art of Fel Reaver Maintenance (Alliance):
- Doctor Gutrick's spawn position changed. - confirmed
- Doctor Gutrick now drops only The Doctor's Key and doesn't drop anymore the quest item The Art of Fel Reaver Maintenance. - confirmed
- Changed The Doctor's Key drop chance from 98.5% to 100%. - confirmed
Quest: The Fel and the Furious (Horde and Alliance):
- Fixing client freezing upon accepting the quest The Fel and the Furious. - confirmed
- Added Fel Reaver Control Console objects. - confirmed
- Using game object Fel Reaver Control Console gives you control for 5 minutes over creature Fel Reaver Sentinel. - denied - it gives you control over Fel Reaver Sentinel, but like pet, instead it should give you control as Mind Control - this means you should get complete control over Fel Reaver Sentinel instead of your character
- Fel Reaver Sentinels were added too. - confirmed
- Fixed Fel Reaver Sentinel`s abilities. - cannot really test it because of the issue with the control over the Fel Reaver - you cannot move him around, you can only use attacks on nearby enemies, from what I reached the abilities seem fine and are more likely confirmed, but needs some additional testing.
- More Deathforged Infernals were spawned. - denied - now even the old Deathforged Infernals are missing, instead there are Invis Sporebats triggers ??
- Added Gan'arg Technicians and Cataclysm Overseers, made them hostile to the player. - confirmed

Seems this needs some explanation - this site is meant for reporting issues, and communication between the developers and the testers in order for a fix to be made and applied safely to the live server. Everything that you see commented on this site is applied and tested, respectively confirmed/denied ONLY on the PTR (Public Test Realm). If anything from these things goes to the Live realm it will be mentioned in the changelogs.

It is not applied because the last step of the chain isn't fixed yet, and there is no reason to apply a fix that will simply fix 1 or 2 steps from the chain and people still won't be able to get the final reward.

Tested on alliance side. As stated above 'Doctor Maleficus now drops only The Doctor's Key and doesn't drop anymore the quest item The Art of Fel Reaver Maintenance. - confirmed' Current situation: Doctor Maleficus drops both items 'The Doctor's Key' and 'The Art of Fel Reaver'. 'Added Fel Reaver Control Console objects. - confirmed' Controle Console still not able to use.

1 Year and over 6 Months later and the quest is still bugged?

The quest giver Nakansi is still not spawned.

I am a new player in Feenix and today I found this quest which is one of the most funny quests in TBC is til not fixed. Please take a look at it. The rewards are quite good for hybrid classes. The NPC is still missing and the NPCs for the following quests are not there. Could you give us a great help to fix this interesting quest? Thanks a lot. The previous people has very detail documents.

It seems that the quest [The Fel and the Furious] on alliance side atleast is freezing client after accepting the quest. It's that hard to figure out? I mean it's been few years now. I played here about 2-3 years ago and it's still bugging :)
