[Tier 4] [Karazhan] - Bug Collection (Boss encounters)

Updated: March 11, 2013 (Netherspite and Servant's Quarter bosses were deleted by Github. Therefore these reports stay quite rudimentary for a while. Most things were moved to the internal forums and are patched for a while.)

2.) Attumen the Huntsman:

a) When he backs his horse Midnight in phase 3 (Summon Attumen (Mounted) / Mount), he keeps the aggro list of Attumen the Huntsman. There should be a complete aggro wipe at the beginning of phase 3. (wowwiki.com: “Attumen wipes threat at this transition.“)
b) Disarm reduces all hits of Attumen the Huntsman (mounted and unmounted) to 1 damage. It should instead reduce his damage output by 65% while disarmed. (wowwiki.com: "Vulnerable to Disarm. (reduces damage about 65%)")
c) Midnight and Attumen the Huntsman (in his mounted form in phase 3) don't use Knockdown.
d) Midnight and Attumen the Huntsman are vulnerable to bleed effects. They should both be immune. (sources: Nr.1, Nr.2, Nr.3)

3.) Moroes:
a) There is a bug with Vanish, where he sometimes stays in vanish and remains unattackable for the raid, but starts to hit the tank. This is resettable if all players run out of the room besides the tank and wait for him trying to Garrote a random player. (It probably happens if players stand on the tables and Moroes garrots them under textures.)
b) If your group wipes while Moroes is still in Vanish, he resets vanished and is not clickable.
c) Lady Catriona Von'Indi seems to use Dispel Magic very rarely. She should use it at least every 30 seconds, dispelling a buff of a random player.
d) Lady Keira Berrybuck seems to use Cleanse only on herself, which is pretty pointless. She should use it in order to "release her friends from Shackle Undead, [Turn Evil] and Freezing Trap." (wowwiki.com)
e) Disarm reduces all hits of Moroes to 1 damage per hit. It should instead decrease his physical damage output by 65% while disarmed. (No exact sources about damage reduction can be found, therefore it is taken from Wowwiki about Attumen the Huntsman. Wowwiki says about Disarm in PVE: "The damage reduction is marked, as much as 50-70%.).
f) The attack power bonus of Greater Blessing of Might, buffed by Lady Keira Berrybuck, is too low. It should be 550 AP.
g) Lady Keira Berrybuck is currently unarmed. She should yield a weapon and a shield as you can see on wowhead.com.
h) Lord Robin Daris is currently unarmed. He should yield an axe as you can see on wowhead.com.

4.) Maiden of Virtue:
a) Her ability Repentance hits her main target. It should not hit her main target. (wowwiki.com: Does not hit the Maiden's target.)
b) She takes totems into consideration when using Holy Fire. This should not happen.
c) She can currently be disarmed. She has no weapons and should therefore be disarm immune.

5.) Opera Event:
a) Different players can start the event at Barnes multiple times. You should only be able to start it once.
b) Exploit
c) [Wizard of Oz]: Dorothee and her companions instantly attack the group at the beginning of the encounter. The following should happen instead:
- Dorothee, Roar, Tinhead, and Strawman shall spawn as hostile creatures, but not attackable.
- Dorothee should say: ”Oh Tito, we simply must find a way home! The old wizard could be our only hope! Strawman, Roar, Tinhead, will you... wait! Oh golly, look! We have visitors!“ (source at 00:10)
- After she finished her monologue, Dorothee should aggro first according to this video at 00:22.
- 3 seconds later, Roar should aggro. (source at 00:25)
- 10 seconds after Roar, Strawman should aggro. (source at 00:35)
- 10 seconds after Strawman, Tinhead should aggro. (source at 00:45)
d) [Big Bad Wolf]: Grandmother has wrong gossip options. She should say the following: (source)
- "Hello, my child." with a clickable gossip option "Oh, grandmother, what big ears you have."
- Then she should say "The better to hear you with, my child." with a clickable gossip option "Oh, grandmother, what big eyes you have."
- Then she should say "The better to see you with, my child." with a clickable gossip option "Oh, grandmother, what phat lewts you have?"
- Then she should transform into the Big Bad Wolf and yell "All the better to own you with!" as he does already correctly.
e) [Romulo and Julianne]: Disarm reduces all hits of Romulo to 1 damage per hit. It should instead decrease his physical damage output by 65% while disarmed. (No exact sources about damage reduction can be found, therefore it is taken from Wowwiki about Attumen the Huntsman. Wowwiki says about Disarm in PVE: "The damage reduction is marked, as much as 50-70%.).
f) [Wizard of Oz]: Dorothee is interruptable. She should be immune against interrupts. (source)
g) [Wizard of Oz]: Dorothee takes totems into consideration for her spell Water Bolt. This should not be the case.
h) [Wizard of Oz]: Dorothee does not enrage when Tito dies before her (wowwiki.com: "Causes Dorothee to Enrage if killed before her."). It should increase her casting and attack speed by 100%. (source)
i) [Wizard of Oz]: Dorothee does not use Frightened Scream. Instead Roar seems to use it, which is wrong.
j) [Wizard of Oz]: There is only 1x Cyclone of The Crone and it is not active all the time. Wowwiki.com says: "The cyclones move slowly around the room in a group, and can cross the center of the stage, so it is unsafe to move strictly clockwise or counter-clockwise." There should be ~ 3 cyclones.
k) [Wizard of Oz]: Cyclones of The Crone have no effect. They should throw you in the air and inflict damage (pre patch 2.1). (wowwiki.com: "Patch 2.1 removed damage done by cyclones. Expected falling damage is 1500-3000 depending on max health.")
l) [Wizard of Oz]: Chain Lightning of The Crone is interruptable. I have not read on any site that this spell can be interrupted.
m) [Wizard of Oz]: The Crone should have Fiery Broom Proc on her weapon, inflicting additional 2375 - 2625 fire damage on hit with a 20% chance. (source)
n) Disarm reduces all hits of Tinhead and The Crone to 1 damage. It should instead reduce their physical damage output by 65% while disarmed. (wowwiki.com: "Vulnerable to Disarm. (reduces damage about 65%)")
o) Dorothee, Roar, Strawman, Tito, Big Bad Wolf and Julianne yield no weapons and should therefore be disarm immune.
p) Romulo doesn't yield a weapon. A model must be added. The model can be seen here.

6.) Curator:
a) Exploit.
b) As a mechanical creature he should be immune to bleeds, poisons and drain life effects. He currently isn’t immune. (wowwiki.com only says poisons and drain life, but I am sure that bleed effects are involved.)
c) Astral Flares are currently tauntable. They should be immune to taunt effects. (source)
d) He can be disarmed. He has no weapon and should therefore be disarm immune.

7.) Shade of Aran:
a) Flame Wreath is instantly casted by Aran. He should cast it for 5 seconds.
b) If players interrupt his Arcane Missiles, Fireball or Frostbolt, it should lock the interrupted spell for a short period of time. (wowwiki.com: ”It is possible to interrupt and lock out all his basic abilities to the point where he starts to use his melee attack.“)
c) Aran should have no aggro table besides for basic melee attacks. ([wowwiki.com](): “When meleeing, he uses a normal aggro table.”) At the moment a taunt lets Aran shoot the first Fireball/Frostbolt/Arcane Missiles at the tank. Aggro should not influence spells of Aran.
d) Blizzard does not circulate properly. After a few seconds the whole room is full with the animation of Blizzard. The damage is done at the correct spots, though. (You stand in the Blizzard, but it only damages at spots where players would get damage if it would circulate properly.)
e) Mass Polymorph / Conjure Water and Drink / Pyroblast phase is not working properly:
- He correctly polymorphs the whole raid.
- The conjuring water/drinking phase is pretty buggy and happens in different bugged variations. It needs to be revamped. He should conjure water (2 seconds casting time), sit down and drink while sitting. He should drink about 6 seconds while completely refilling his mana pool.
- In a raid situation he shoots an unlimited amount of Pyroblasts (1,700 fire damage) at every raid member. If you fight him alone on the PTR, he shoots only 1x Pyroblast, inflicting only 1,700 fire damage, too. After about 6 seconds of drinking, he should stand up and shoot only 1x Pyroblast at every raid member, inflicting 6800 fire damage.
- After being at full mana, he drinks a potion. This is wrong. Wowwiki.com says:"If Aran reaches 20% mana again after the first Mass Polymorph, he does not Polymorph and Pyroblast again. He just drinks a potion and continues." Currently he repeats the Mass Polymorph phase again and again when reaching 20% mana again.
f) He shoots Arcane Missiles, Fireballs and Frostbolts at totems. He should not take totems into consideration.
g) The 12 minute hard enrage of Shade of Aran does not work properly. Only about 2x Shadows of Aran spawn, but they disappear quickly. After 12 minutes they should spawn in every corner, don't be attackable or at least have a high amount of health. At feenix they have ~ 1,000 HP, are attackable and don't cast anything. They should spam volley spells and wipe the raid quite fast. (sources: wowwiki.com and wowhead comment)
h) Wandering around because of the disorient effect of Aran's Dragonbreath is able to trigger the effect of Flame Wreath . This should not happen.
i) He casts Arcane Missiles for 0.5 seconds before actually channeling them. He should not do that.
j) Visual bug: Aran actually doesn't face people he is shooting random bolts at. He faces the highest threat target all the time. He should face the player he actually shoots at.

8. Terestian Illhoof:
a) Kil’rek is sometimes pre spawned. This should not be the case.
b) He does not summon Kil’rek during the fight. He should be summoned right after the beginning of the encounter (source). Kil’rek should be resummoned ~ 45 seconds after his death. (source)
c) When Kil’rek dies, he does not cast Broken Pact on Terestian Illhoof, which should increase damage taken by 25%. It should last ”until Kil'rek respawns, which is roughly 45 seconds” (source)
d) Kil’rek seems to keep people in combat after the encounter. Sometimes he appears again after Illhoof died. (He seems to be under the ground.)
e) Terestian Illhoof can be disarmed currently. He has no weapon and should therefore be disarm immune.
f) Fiendish Imps currently give 15 reputation for the Violet Eye. They should not give any reputation.

9.) Netherspite:
a) Currently 3 different creatures are located within the portals who are used as a starting point for the beams. They should not be there. (Could they be replaced with models who are invisible for players and also not clickable?)
b) In phase 2, he starts to hit and chase the tank. He should stay stationary and cast Netherbreath on random targets. (I finally could reproduce. All you need is 2 clients. Tank him with client 1. Put any damage spell with a DOT in phase 1 on Netherspite with client 2. Then run out of range of his Netherbreath with client 2. If the dot does any damage in phase 2 and client 2 is still out of range, he will start to chase and hit client 1.) c) Netherbreath should only hit players in a frontal cone. At the moment it hits all players in range. (See also: https://github.com/FeenixServerProject/Archangel_2.4.3_Bugtracker/issues/1420)
d) Beams are sometimes not visible if players stand in them and receive their buff. They should be visible in a way that they use the player as a destination spot as long as he receives the according buff.
e) Beams are pretty unreliable. It can happen that you stand in them perfectly and you do not receive the buff. Then you have to run out of them a few yards and back in to reactivate them.
f) He currently resets and the entrance door opens if his current aggro target dies. He should only reset and the entrance door should only open again after all people in the room were killed by Netherspite. g) You don't get the debuff Nether Exhaustion after you stood in one of the beams and its buff ticked out. (wowwiki.com: "Once a buff "ticks out" (player leaves the beam long enough to lose the debuff — 8-20 sec), another debuff is applied to the player called Nether Exhaustion, which prevents him from intercepting that color beam for the next 1 minute and 30 seconds.")
- You should get "green" Nether Exhaustion after the effect of Nether Portal: Serenity faded.
- You should get "blue" Nether Exhaustion after the effect of Nether Portal: Dominance faded.
- You should get "red" Nether Exhaustion after the effect of Nether Portal: Perseverence faded.
- These debuffs should last 90 seconds and prevent you from entering the according beam/receiving the buff in this duration.
h) If you stand in the read beam (Nether Portal: Perseverence), you should always have aggro of Netherspite (wowwiki.com: "Netherspite will aggro you. If no one is standing in the Red Beam, Netherspite uses his standard aggro table.") He always uses his normal aggro table.
i) Void Zones of Netherspite are currently targetable, level 1 and only have 1 HP. They shouldn't be targetable at all.
j) He seems to have an insane amount of aggro on the player that approached him the first. This is wrong. It could be related with the bug in 1.b. His aggro table should be managed as described in 1.h.
k) Curse of Recklessness (curse of a warlock) has the same icon as Nether Burn of Netherspite. It currently overwrites each other, meaning if Curse of Recklessness is on Netherspite, Nether Burn isn't used by him. It shouldn't overwrite each other.

10.) Chess Event:
a) It needs to be implemented! :) @Zabba work work.. Here would be a video about it.

11.) Prince Malchezaar:
a) Infernals have their starting point near Prince Malchezaar’s body. They should start to fly from a point high in the air (wowwiki.com: ”If you look to the sky behind the balcony, […]”). This site shows the starting spot of infernals at this picture.
b) Enfeeble is casted on the tank in 2 different scenarios:
- Scenario 1: Tank gets the debuff Enfeeble, his HP isn't reduced to 1 and healing on him is fine.
- Scenario 2: Tank gets the debuff Enfeeble, his HP isn't reduced to 1, but all healing effects are reduced to 0. (screenshot)
- How it should work: The tank should NOT get Enfeeble in any situation. (wowwiki.com: ” Periodically casts Enfeeble on five characters chosen at random, excluding the current target (the tank).”) (See also: https://github.com/FeenixServerProject/Archangel_2.4.3_Bugtracker/issues/1378)
c) Enfeeble is applied on every raid member, but only 5 raid members are set to 1 HP (Special bug for the tank in: 10.b.). Enfeeble should be applied on only 5 raid members.
d) Enfeeble and Shadow Nova are not synchronized. In phase 1 and 2 Shadow Nova should be casted ~ 4 seconds after Enfeeble is put on 5 players (source). At the moment there is a difference of ~ 10 seconds.
e) Flying Axes in phase 3 seem to have only 1 HP and die if they attack a target with Thorns or a similar passively damaging effect. They should stay on their selected target and don’t die. It could be fixable with a huge HP increase.
f) Flying Axes in phase 3 take totems into consideration for their target, what they should not do.
g) Flying Axes in phase 3 stay on the same target the whole time. If their target dies, they hang in the air. They should switch targets randomly every 6 – 10 seconds. (Watch this from 05:55 to 07:10 how axes switch randomly between 2 targets.)
h) Disarm reduces all hits of Prince Malchezaar to 1 damage per hit. It should instead decrease his physical damage output by 65% while disarmed. (No exact sources about damage reduction can be found, therefore the it is taken from Wowwiki about Attumen the Huntsman. Wowwiki says about Disarm in PVE: "The damage reduction is marked, as much as 50-70%.).

12.) Nightbane:
a) He is currently immune to bleed effects. He should not be immune. (See also last comment: https://github.com/FeenixServerProject/Archangel_2.4.3_Bugtracker/issues/1698)
b) Tail Sweep sometimes hits players next to him or in front of him. It should only hit players in a cone behind him.
c) Cleave rarely hits players next to him. (Not reproducable for me and I am not sure if it is player's fault)
d) Restless Skeletons spawn before [Rain of Bones] actually hit the target.
e) HP reduce of Restless Skeletons by 65%.
f) Properly reset!
g) Restless Skeletons are currently immune against all magic damage besides holy damage. This was removed with a hotfix several hours after Patch 2.0.10. (wowwiki.com)
h) Restless Skeletons currently have a massive amount of initial aggro on the tank. They shouldn't have any initial aggro
