[Hunter] [Talant] Improved Stings #2556

Issue:

Hunter talant, Improved Stings [ID: 19464 - 19468] grants way more than 30% (around 60-70%) dispell chance reduction. Tests 50 times with druid and Viper/Poison stings. Out of those samples only 7 stings were dispelled in first cure cast (Abolish Poison), other varied from 2 up to 5! casts to dispell them. That cleary not representing 70% chance dispeller should have after hunter's 5/5 points investment.

Opposite situation was tested with Arcane Shot on druid HoTs (same 30% talant on druid side) and it worked as should, most HoTs (or any other magical buff) were dispelled on first shot.

How it should be:

Improved Stings should reduces the chance your Stings will be dispelled by 30%.

Cannot reproduce on PTR or PLTR.

Did multiple testings with shaman (Cure Poison, Poison Cleansing Totem) and druid (Abolish Poison) against hunters with and without Improved Stings. 30% resistance is about right.

I think there is something wrong with this overall. I tested it some time ago with Druid Cure Poison, the overall chance was about 30, may be a bit more, but I had like many casts dispelled with the first cure, and some casts took much more, had even casts that I couldn't dispel at all for the duration (taking more than 6-7 cure casts)

Thats why i said that odds are higher than 30% and are around 60% (i'm pretty sure there was tooltip 30+30 misleading stack). From mathematical point of view, chances on not dispelling sting on 3rd try with 30% resistance are exacly 2,7%, just bear that in mind while testing.

I did test as paladin to measure the succes rate of cleanse of hunters viper sting. 25 viper sting casted (5/5 improved stings talent) Succesfully dispelled by 1st cast 10 times 2nd cast 8 times 3rd cast 1 times !!!!!!!!!!! 4th cast 3 times !!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!! 5th cast 2 times !!!!!!!!!!! 6th cast 1 times ---> this mean it cant dispelled before the sting expired

No way it shouldn`t be removed by 4th or 5th dispell attempt at 30% reduced dispell chance.

For arena it is gamebreaking versus druids, priest, paladins.
