[Dungeon][Mount Hyjal][Azgalor] "Doom" can target NPCs as well as the maintank #3410

Expected behaviour: Doom can't be applied to NPCs nor the maintank. Observed behaviour: Doom can be applied to NPCs like Horde Grunts (making a Lesser Doomguard getting spawned on the tank) and on the maintank and even Thrall (immediately ending the fight)

This happened to us today. It's pretty disappointing because you spend 30 minutes on trash - only to have the boss despawn, not allowing you to get in an attempt.

Thus, you waste 30 minutes AGAIN just to do another attempt, only to have him Doom thrall or the Main Tank again. In order to kill Azgalor you need to pray to the RNG gods that he doesn't doom Thrall/MT, but he shouldn't be able to doom Thrall/MT at all in the first place.

This is clearly a big issue when it comes to Tier 6 raiding, and I hope the developers can understand that it is a big issue. I know there are other priorities you need to deal with, but it would be great for an acknowledgement that this bug exists, and that there will be something done to fix it when there is time available to fix it.

Marking for no fix, just happened Sunday again.

there wasnt even a patch on sunday yet, so it is the same Azgalor which everyone was farming for the last year. And in a year of raiding we have never encountered that problem

Wasn't relating to any patch, just that it has been nearly two years since the initial report. Several guilds on horde can confirm the issue, maybe it is something that is related to the faction? I am not running a guild atm but was asked by other guilds' members if I could poke you about the issue. Just because you didn't experience it it doesn't mean it's not there.

On a sidenote: I encountered it at least over ten times myself. In different guilds, over a long period of time.

well its not faction related, since we are on horde. And i can guarantee you that our guild (BWMB) did not have a single Azgalor attempt/kill where an NPC or main tank would be targeted by Doom in almost 2 years of raiding. So i would have to assume the issue is rather specific
